Thomas helped me fight an unethical hazardous waste company that took over the company that I had been using in my dental practice for years. They illegally had my dental assistant sign a five year contract that raised the monthly fee from around fifty dollars a month to well over three hundred! I had tried fighting them myself but was unsuccessful. Thomas stepped in and very thoroughly and professionally got their attention! The threatening letters and phone calls stopped, and he negotiated the monthly fee down to below the original, and then proceeded to have them write off all charges and cancel the contract! Thomas Daly was very helpful and accommodating. He also has a very calming and pleasant personality. I just needed a little advice drafting a brief for a traffic infraction appeal and was working from a very limited budget. I contacted five other law offices and not only was Mr. Daly the only one to agree to work with my budget (let alone help me with my case at all), but he made himself available almost instantly at about 11 PM. I was absolutely amazed at how much advice he gave me during the free consultation later that week in his office. Dude is nothing short of outstanding. I hired him in June 2020 for dui charge that I had from back 2012. It was my 3rd dui at the time and I’d had a warrant out for it for over 7 years. I knew with certainty the DA was wanting to throw the book at me and that was the case. I lived with the fear of this hanging over my head for 7 years, as well as not having a license and dealing with the matter showing up on background checks, and yes I know this was my own fault. I finally decided to handle the matter and pay my dues which was most likely going to be a year in jail and another 3 years without a license because the conviction would trigger an additional 3 years of suspension. I prepared to accept this as the consequence of me not handling the matter for so long. I contacted my previous lawyer Dan O’Malley from the firm O’Connor Runckle and O’Malley law firm. O’Malley was extremely rude to me even though I was a previous client and he painted a total doom and gloom picture to me and that there wasn’t much he was going to be able to do given the circumstances. I decided to look for a 2nd opinion and man am I glad i did!!!! I reached out to Mr. Daly and it was night and day. He was friendly and did not make me feel judged at all. Once I explained my situation he immediately set forth formulating his game plan which was to get the case dismissed completely. I’ll be honest I had no faith in that happening at all but his confidence and demeanor made me feel a little bit at ease for the first time in 7 years even though I was convinced there wasn’t much he was going to be able to do. Over the next few weeks Thomas always checked in with me and kept me up to date with what he was doing and what he needed from me. He was consistent with his outstanding and personable treatment of me. I was never left wondering what was going on and his confidence in what he was going to do never wavered and my fear and anxiety actually eased over the weeks even though I was getting closer and closer to judgment day. Approximately 7 weeks after I retained Daly I get a call from him letting me know he got the DA to somehow some way dismiss my case AND dismiss probation and the probation violations. EVERYTHING COMPLETELY GONE AND DONE WITH! I had to keep pinching myself to make sure it was real. For the first time in 7 years I have my life back, nothing hanging over my head and my license all because of Thomas Daly.
